This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you access and use our mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Our App allows users to post a word along with its definition. All posted content is publicly visible, and there is no private communication between users. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect during login and signup and how we manage that information while clarifying that any content you post is available for public viewing.

When you sign up or log in to the App, we collect the following personal information:

• Email address
   
• Password
   
• Username
   

All passwords are securely encrypted using Firebase’s industry-standard encryption methods. We do not collect any additional information or metadata such as device details, IP addresses, or cookies.

Your login and signup information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Account Creation and Authentication: To create and verify your account, ensuring you have secure access to the App.
   
• Security and Data Management: To maintain the integrity of your account and protect your information.
   

Your email, password, and username are not used for marketing or shared with third parties. No additional data is collected or analyzed.

Any word and definition you post on the App is considered public content. This means:

• Public Visibility: All posted content is visible to anyone who accesses the App.
   
• Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post. While your personal login information is kept secure, the words and definitions you share can be seen, shared, and might become popular (“go viral”).
   

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that any content you upload is publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines.

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. Our measures include:

• Encryption: All passwords and sensitive data are encrypted using Firebase.
   
• Limited Data Storage: We retain only the minimal information necessary to provide our services.
   

Despite these security measures, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We will keep your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with our services. Should you choose to delete your account, your login information will be removed from our active systems, subject to any legal obligations requiring further data retention.

Our App does not incorporate any third-party integrations for analytics, hosting, advertising, or error logging that would access your personal information. All data is managed solely through Firebase and our internal systems.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By using our App, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the U.S. for any legal disputes relating to your account or this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. If changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy. Your continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the revised policy.
